Yemen's Forces Capture Mocha Amid Ongoing Military Campaign
Yemen's armed forces regained control of the Red Sea city of Mocha on Monday after clashes with the Iran-backed Houthis. This development follows a full-scale military campaign launched by Yemeni forces, supported by a Saudi-led coalition. The Houthis had held Mocha since early September, intensifying their military actions against Saudi Arabia. The coalition is providing air support, with 100 fighter jets involved in the operation. Additionally, Yemen's government forces have initiated an offensive on Sanaa, which has been under Houthi control since 2014. The recent escalation has prompted Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan to reaffirm their defense commitments during an emergency meeting in Riyadh.
