Gangster Hari Boxer Detained in US, Wanted in 22 Cases
Harichand Jat, known as Hari Boxer, was detained in California by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement following a coordinated operation with Indian law enforcement. The 40-year-old is wanted in 22 criminal cases across Rajasthan, including extortion and attempted murder. He allegedly operated an extortion network from abroad, targeting wealthy individuals in India. Boxer fled India in April 2023 and was tracked through multiple countries before his detention. Indian authorities are now working to secure his extradition. His criminal activities are linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and he has been implicated in various incidents, including a shooting outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence. The Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force has been actively involved in the investigation and coordination with international agencies.
