Typhoon Maysak has made landfall in China, causing severe damage in southern and central regions. The Guangxi region experienced up to 280mm of rain in 12 hours, leading to swollen rivers and broken dam walls. Flooding in Nanning has stranded many individuals on rooftops. At least 11 people have died, 331 have been injured, and over 4,855 houses have been damaged. The typhoon also contributed to the formation of two tornados in central China.
