UAE President to Visit India for Strategic Talks on January 19
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, will visit India on January 19, 2026, for official talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The visit aims to enhance the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and discuss regional and global issues. This meeting follows the UAE's support for U.S. President Trump's announcement of the 'Board of Peace for Gaza'. The UAE is a key trading partner for India, and discussions will also cover the upcoming AI Impact Summit in India and the agenda for the next BRICS summit. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar previously visited Abu Dhabi in December 2025 for the 16th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting.
