PM Modi Visits Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan for Bilateral Talks and SCO Summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi began a four-day visit to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on August 29, focusing on strengthening strategic partnerships. In Uzbekistan, he will engage in bilateral talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, discussing trade, investment, digital connectivity, and defence. Modi's itinerary includes visits to the Shastri Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Centre in Tashkent. Following this, he will attend the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek, where he aims to advance India's vision of security and connectivity in the region. This marks Modi's fourth visit to Uzbekistan, reflecting the growing cooperation between India and Central Asia.
