Suspected Pakistani Drone Spotted Near LoC in Poonch, Search Underway
A suspected Pakistani drone was detected near the Line of Control in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday at 8:05 PM. Security forces initiated a search operation to locate any dropped weapons or contraband and to prevent further incursions. Increased surveillance has been implemented in the area. Concurrently, multiple search operations are ongoing in the Udhampur-Kathua forest belt and Rajouri district following reports of suspicious movements. No contact has been made with any suspected individuals so far. This incident follows previous occurrences where Indian Army troops engaged with drones from Pakistan earlier this year.
