Rajnath Singh Addresses Evolving Security Challenges for Armed Forces
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the complex security landscape during a speech at Bagdogra airfield. He stated that modern warfare now includes cyberattacks, drone swarms, and information operations, moving beyond traditional cross-border firing. Singh warned that adversaries exploit vulnerabilities without direct conflict, often using social media to spread misleading information. He emphasized the need for armed forces personnel to maintain vigilance against emerging threats and to uphold discipline, as their conduct shapes public perception of the military. Singh's remarks come as the armed forces adapt to these evolving challenges.
