PM Modi to Visit Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan for SCO Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a four-day visit to Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. The visit includes bilateral talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and attendance at the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek. PM Modi will discuss enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, digital connectivity, defence, and energy. This marks his fourth visit to Uzbekistan, where he will also pay tribute at the Shastri Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Centre. The SCO summit will feature leaders from 10 member countries, including Russia and China, focusing on regional security and cooperation. India has been an active member of the SCO since 2017.
