Modi to Inaugurate ₹79,450 Crore Refinery in Rajasthan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan on April 21, 2026, to inaugurate India’s first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Pachpadra in Balotra. The project, developed as a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and the government of Rajasthan, has an investment of over ₹79,450 crore. The complex has a capacity of nine million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) and marks a significant development in India's energy and petrochemical sector. Modi will also address a public gathering during the visit.
