Poland Highlights India's Role in Russia-Ukraine Conflict Resolution
Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Wladyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski has identified India as a crucial player in potentially ending the ongoing Ukraine war. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the few leaders capable of influencing Russian President Vladimir Putin. Bartoszewski highlighted India's intervention in 2022, which he claims prevented the conflict from escalating into a nuclear crisis. He also referenced India's 'Operation Ganga,' which facilitated the return of thousands of Indian students from Ukraine during the conflict. Recently, Putin praised India for its independent foreign policy amidst tensions with the United States over trade ties.
