PM Modi Engages with Global Leaders at G20 Summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and other world leaders during the G20 Summit. He was received by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and was seen shaking hands with Meloni, marking their second meeting since June. Modi also interacted with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. During the summit, he called for a review of global development standards and proposed a G20 initiative to address drug-related terrorism and establish a global healthcare response team. Additionally, he suggested creating a Global Traditional Knowledge Repository to protect environmentally sustainable practices and cultural heritage.
