Ajit Doval Engages with Russia, Myanmar at Moscow Security Forum
India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval participated in the first International Security Forum in Moscow, where he held bilateral meetings with Russian officials, including First Deputy PM Denis Manturov, and Myanmar's NSA Tin Aung San. Discussions focused on cooperation in defence, energy, and space. Doval's meetings align with India's Neighbourhood First policy, as Myanmar's NSA is scheduled to visit India in July for a BIMSTEC meeting. The forum, hosted by Sergei Shoigu, addressed international security challenges in a multipolar world. Doval emphasized the need for responsible nations to take a clear stance against terrorism and highlighted the importance of secure trade routes in West Asia.
