Jaishankar Discusses Global Power Dynamics at Raisina Dialogue 2026
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar addressed the evolving global governance landscape at the Raisina Dialogue 2026, emphasizing that the expectation of a fixed world order since the mid-20th century is unrealistic. He noted that power is now more fragmented and multipolar, with emerging drivers such as technology and demographics shaping global dynamics. The three-day conference, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5 March, features participation from representatives of 110 countries, including ministers and industry leaders. The theme for this year's dialogue is 'Saṁskāra – Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement', with around 2700 participants expected to attend in person and millions viewing online.
