288 Indians Missing in Nepal Floods; Rescue Operations Ongoing
As rescue efforts continue in flood-affected regions of Nepal, 288 Indian nationals remain untraced. The Ministry of External Affairs reported that 21 Indians from Tamil Nadu have been rescued, while around 200 others are stranded on the Chinese side. The missing Indians include workers from the Trishuli-1 power project and pilgrims from the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The death toll has risen to 322, with more than 1,000 people feared missing. India has sent 47.5 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Nepal, including food and medical supplies.
