Multiple Flights Diverted in Europe Due to Bomb Threats

On Thursday, several flights across Europe were diverted due to bomb threats. An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome, carrying 151 passengers and six crew members, was redirected to Évreux-Fauville Air Base in France. A Wizz Air flight from Milan to Warsaw was also diverted to Vienna. Additionally, a LOT Polish Airlines flight from Warsaw to Paris was halted for a security check while taxiing. Between Monday and Tuesday, at least seven flights faced similar disruptions, prompting fighter jet escorts in some cases. No explosives were found, and UK officials described the incidents as 'malicious hoax threats.' Over 30,000 flights operate daily in Europe, making such threats rare.
