India Increases LPG Cylinder Supply Amid West Asia Fuel Disruptions
India has increased the supply of 5-kg LPG cylinders and expedited the rollout of piped natural gas (PNG) connections due to fuel availability issues stemming from the West Asia conflict. Since March 23, over 1.3 million 5-kg LPG cylinders have been sold, with daily sales exceeding 100,000 units. This initiative aims to improve access for migrant workers and low-income consumers amid ongoing disruptions in fuel supply.
