Congress Demands Resignation of Punjab CM After Police Station Blast

Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has called for the resignation of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav following a grenade attack on a police station in Moga. Warring stated that the incident, along with previous blasts in Jalandhar and Amritsar, highlights a deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab. He alleged that the AAP government has failed to address recurring violence, leading to a lack of safety for citizens. Warring also referenced an FBI report suggesting collusion between some police personnel and gangsters, and he urged the Punjab Police to take action against organized crime networks. He has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressing his concerns about the law and order situation in the state.
