An Indian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet crashed in Assam's Karbi Anglong district after losing radar contact shortly after takeoff from Jorhat. The aircraft went missing on Thursday evening, with the last communication recorded at 7.42 pm. It was on a routine training mission and had two pilots onboard. Search and rescue operations are currently underway to locate the aircraft and the crew.
