Delhi Implements GRAP Stage IV Amid Severe Air Quality Crisis

Delhi's air quality remains critically poor, with an average AQI of 364 recorded on November 22. In response, the Commission for Air Quality Management has invoked GRAP Stage IV measures, allowing public and private offices to operate at 50% capacity, while others work from home. This decision follows a Supreme Court directive aimed at addressing the deteriorating air quality. The revised plan, effective from November 2025, includes stricter measures for earlier stages and is part of ongoing efforts to combat pollution in the National Capital Region. The situation is expected to worsen, with forecasts indicating that air quality may slip into the 'severe' category in the coming days.
