Seven-Year-Old Found Dead in Ghaziabad Mall, Police Investigate
A seven-year-old girl was found dead in the basement of an under-construction mall in Ghaziabad's Raj Nagar Extension on Saturday. The girl, daughter of a construction worker, was reported missing around 7-8 pm on Friday. Her family alleges she was kidnapped, gang raped, and murdered. Police discovered her body around 1 am, with visible injuries and no clothes. An autopsy is pending, and police are treating the case as rape and murder, having registered an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Several individuals have been taken in for questioning as investigations continue.
