During a meeting on Monday, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar urged Poland to show zero tolerance for terrorism and avoid supporting terrorist infrastructure in India's neighbourhood. He addressed concerns over the 'selective targeting' of India by European states in the context of the Ukraine war, describing it as unfair. Jaishankar's comments followed a joint statement from Poland and Pakistan that referenced Kashmir and terrorism, which had raised tensions in New Delhi. The meeting also reviewed the bilateral action plan for 2024-28, focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, defence, and technology. India and Poland's two-way trade is currently valued at $7 billion, having increased by nearly 200% over the past decade. Poland supports an India-EU free trade agreement, with negotiations expected to conclude during the upcoming India-EU Summit in January.
