Delhi Police Uncover Drone-Based Arms Smuggling Racket
The Delhi Police's Crime Branch has dismantled an international arms smuggling operation using drones to transport weapons from Pakistan to gangs in the Delhi-NCR region, including those linked to Lawrence Bishnoi. Four individuals were arrested in connection with the racket. The investigation revealed a two-drone system employed for reconnaissance and delivery of arms manufactured in Turkey and China. Drones were designed to evade detection by using carbon polythene wrapping. The operation was overseen by DCP Sanjeev Yadav.
