Jaishankar: Multipolarity is the Future of Global Order
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated that the era of a few major powers shaping the global order is over, emphasizing that multipolarity is now established. Speaking at the Raisina Dialogue, he noted that power is increasingly distributed across various regions, preventing any single country from dominating. Jaishankar highlighted that while larger countries may form temporary agreements on specific issues, the structural dominance of a few nations is no longer viable. He also mentioned that multipolarity can coexist with multilateralism, asserting that changes in global dynamics reflect a departure from the post-World War II and Cold War frameworks. India has hosted the Voice of Global South gathering for the past three years, indicating a shift towards a new Global South platform.
