BJP Reports ₹6769.14 Crore Income, Leading National Parties in FY 2024-25
The BJP declared an income of ₹6769.14 crore for FY 2024-25, the highest among national parties, according to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms. The Congress followed with ₹918.28 crore, accounting for 11.53% of the total income of ₹7960.09 crore reported by six national parties. The BJP's income increased by 55.95% from the previous year, while the Congress saw a decline of 25.05%. The BJP spent approximately 55.76% of its income, amounting to ₹3774.58 crore, while the Congress spent 21.09% more than its total income. Other parties like the CPI(M), AAP, and BSP reported varying income and expenditure figures, with the BSP's expenditure exceeding its income by ₹47.71 crore.
