Modi Highlights BJP's Electoral Success and Kaziranga Corridor Project
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become the preferred choice of voters, citing victories in recent Bihar assembly and municipal elections in Maharashtra and Kerala. He noted that the Congress party has lost public trust, placing it at the 4th or 5th position in Mumbai's civic elections. Modi laid the foundation stone for the Kaziranga Elevated Corridor Project, valued at over ₹6,950 Crore, aimed at enhancing wildlife safety and reducing human-wildlife conflict. The project will include an 86 km-long corridor with a 35 km elevated section through Kaziranga National Park. Modi also announced the launch of two new Amrit Bharat Express trains, highlighting increased rail budget allocations for Assam under the current government.
