Supreme Court Confirms Lord Ram's Birthplace in Ayodhya
The Supreme Court's Ayodhya Bench has affirmed that Lord Ram was born at the site of the Babri Masjid, based on historical texts. A 116-page addendum by one of the judges references the Ain-i-Akbari and the Bala Kanda of Tulasidasa, which detail Lord Ram's birth in Ayodhya. The addendum states that Hindu belief has consistently identified this location as the Janmaasthan of Lord Ram, supported by various religious scriptures. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi noted that the addendum reflects the faith of Hindus, asserting that such beliefs are not unfounded and are backed by religious documents and travelogues.
