Modi to Hold Roadshow in Tamil Nadu Ahead of Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a roadshow in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, on April 15. The event is expected to feature AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami and BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran. In West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will conduct public meetings and rallies in Darjeeling and Raiganj. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi are also campaigning in the state. The two-phase Assembly polls in West Bengal are set for April 23 and April 29, while Tamil Nadu will hold polling across 234 seats on April 23. Vote counting is scheduled for May 4.
