Indian Army Chief Reviews Security Along LoC in Jammu & Kashmir
Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth conducted a three-day visit to the Northern Command from July 7 to 9, assessing security and operational readiness along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. This marked his first visit since taking office. He reviewed deployments at the Chinar Corps headquarters and met with local officials, discussing security and community engagement. General Seth also evaluated counter-terror operations and technological innovations during his tour of various formations, including Kupwara and Uri. He commended the professionalism of the troops and emphasized the importance of remaining operationally prepared. The visit concluded with a call for commitment to the ethos of 'Nation First' and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
