ADNOC Plans to Expand LPG Supply and Storage in India

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) aims to deepen its energy cooperation with India, focusing on long-term liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply agreements. ADNOC supplied over 500,000 barrels of crude oil daily to India in 2025, constituting nearly 10% of the country's crude imports. A strategic collaboration agreement signed in May 2023 with Indian Oil seeks to enhance LPG trading opportunities. ADNOC is also exploring partnerships with Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd. to increase crude oil storage capacity in India to 30 million barrels, including existing facilities in Mangaluru and potential sites in Visakhapatnam and Chandikhol. The company is working to boost its oil production capacity to five million barrels per day by 2027.
