The incident occurred during 'Operation Trashi-I,' launched by the Indian Army after receiving intelligence about terrorists from the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed group hiding in the area. The operation began around noon on Sunday, leading to an exchange of fire when security forces encountered two to three terrorists. The injured soldiers were evacuated to a hospital. Reinforcements from the Army, Central Reserve Police Force, and local police have been deployed to tighten the cordon and continue the search for the terrorists.
