32 West Bengal Pilgrims Missing After Nepal Flash Floods
The Maharashtra government confirmed that 404 residents are stranded in Nepal due to recent flash floods, with 299 individuals contacted and reported safe. A total of 105 people have returned to India, while 60 tourists remain untraceable. The floods, which occurred in Rasuwa district, have resulted in hundreds of fatalities and significant damage. Additionally, 37 pilgrims stranded in Tibet have departed for Kathmandu. The External Affairs Ministry reported that around 320 Indians are still uncontactable. India is providing humanitarian assistance, including medical teams and relief supplies, to support Nepal's recovery efforts.
